to like someone from the other side of the globe?

Is it possible? I like someone but um, I can't seem to reach her. We're both still young and lack the right type of job to see each other.

Not wrong at all, infact.. my bf is in the UK lol. If all goes well I'll meet him next summer.. old gaming friend from a long ago place in AO, but naw, not a hopeless situation, not wrong either.. it just takes a certain type of trust and bond to keep a long distance relationship strong is all

I want to visit her as well. Kinda explains the story behind my latest piano vid. I rarely play for anyone on the piano. The only other person was my niece when she was feeling really bad about how life is.

I saw on the vid description, so I kind of figured. *holds your hand* the only advice I can give here is make sure you have a strong reserve of trust, that's the one thing that will make or break a long distance relationship. Also if you're unsure of her emotions, ask her! Emotions are soooo hard to read via text. Ahboo and I did the long distance thing for over 5 yrs, and it worked well.. the only reason we split was because he and I wanted to regain the best friend relationship that got lost in the translation along the way.. it's very hard to be a couple and true best friends with the same person.

I mean you normally go to your best friend to bitch about or woo about your current love.. so it's not like you can do that when the person you're dating is the same person, know what I mean, jelly bean? :P

well, that made perfect sense to have a lot of trust in a distance relationship. We just have to take their words for it and not get uptight when they're on the phone or chatting with some old friends. To me, it's a sign of doubt when one starts thinking like that. Just let em be, they're human as well. I um, do video chats with her ^^

If I ended up being her best friend, then I'm more than happy to be. What would really break my heart but at the same time, make me very happy is if she finds the right guy to marry and live life to her fullest. Her current problem is that too many dick-headed guys are just trying to figure out where their penis goes and how irritated she is when telling me about it.

But I told her that when you marry, your spouse will evidently be your best friend and the person to challenge life with right by your side--not one trailing behind the other.

But yes, it's kind of hard to date your best friend and will feel awkward. I tried that once and it didn't go so well so we ended up pretending we never dated lol. But neither of us denied the facts when questioned.

Ah it's cool that you two have vid chats, it makes it so much easier to hear/see the other persons voice and face. It's wonderful you have that outlook, that if in the long run all you ended up as were best friends.. I do wish you all the best that it works the way you would like it too, for the both of you.

As for the dating a best friend.. I think it's easier to become someones best friend while dating, and have it last that way, then going in as best friends already, because as best friends, you already know each others flaws and have formed opinions, there's nothing new to learn there but negative stuff sometimes and it quickly falls a part

I think your outlook on it all is good though and I commend you for that. Ma hen style lol.
